Ordera Book vs Booksy

Same job, none of the commission.

Booksy is a solid, well-known booking marketplace. But its pricing scales with your team, and its Boost feature takes a cut of new clients. Here's exactly how the two compare, with sources.

Where the real cost difference shows up

A 3-person team. On Booksy's mid plan plus two extra staff members, you're looking at roughly $60–90/month before a single Boost client walks in. Ordera Book stays £19/month flat, whether you're a solo stylist or a team of ten.

Growth. Booksy's Boost commission is one-time per new client, which is fair in principle — but it means your subscription and your commission both grow as your business grows. Ordera Book's flat fee means the more you grow, the more you save relative to revenue.

Your client relationships. Booksy's marketplace exists to help clients discover salons — including, sometimes, your competitors, in the same search. Ordera Book has no marketplace: your booking link only ever shows your business.

Where Booksy has the edge

To be fair: Booksy has a large existing consumer marketplace and app, which can genuinely bring in new clients who are browsing rather than searching for you by name — that discovery layer is something a standalone tool like Ordera Book doesn't attempt to replicate. If marketplace discovery is your main acquisition channel today, weigh that against the ongoing per-staff and commission costs.
